This site is devoted to the knowledge through a scientific and academic approach to the perspectives, places, species, that are of prime importance in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

A compilation and synthesis of our history in conservation ecology during the last century, the site is based on two crosslinked catalogs:

· Centennial Catalog Protected Areas including Ecologically Vulnerable Areas

· Red Catalog Endangered Species

The communication rule utilized throughout the site is to express all information in the official language of the country involved. To increase understanding, there is a country synthesis in Spanish for every English-speaking country, and similarly there is a country synthesis in English for every Spanish-speaking country. The links to those abstracts are located in the country's main page. The statists and information is on the make, constantly updating.
